- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★Mike Richardson and his son Kyle are WONDERFUL realtors. We have purchased several properties in Santa Barbara from Mike. Mike manages and leases all these properties. He has done so for over 20 years. Our latest purchase was a 4 plex in the Upper Mission. The property was old and desperately needed a total rehabilitation, from foundation up. Mike and his team were invaluable They oversaw the job, with the owners, without charge, They carefully and fairly assessed who was responsible for what( seller was very co-operative and paid for some of the repairs), and co-ordinated the re-construction on a very fair budget. They worked with the architects, the City of Santa Barbara on permits and approvals and with the contractor to get work done in a timely fashion. They did an incredible job. Mike handles the leasing and management of the property with the highest skill and professionalism. He amazingly rented all 4 units in under 6 weeks at good rents.
